Blog Hop Tintenträume - August 2021 - Touches of Ink

Hi there

I am delighted to be joining in the Touches of Ink blog hop, if you have just joined or come over from Lisa Mattes - StempelMOMent  blog, I hope you enjoy and the projects.

I hope you are all keeping well, here in the UK, it is school holidays and many families take the opportunity to get away to a different location for a change of scenery, although my family is all grown up, my husband and I love to get away in our campervan! We love camping, but I am too old and creaky for tent camping now and love a bit of luxury and not having to do so much work to set up a tent! Lol! I also love the coast and anything sea related! So 'Sailing Home' is a must in my collection of stamps :)

I have also used the versatile script stamp from 'Very Versailles', another favourite of mine.
My second card uses watercolour card for the main scene, I do love using the Stampin' Up! inks with an aqua painter for a fun look.

Hope you like my cards, please do pop over to the lovely Daniela Klotzsch-Fiehn - Kreativierend to see her beautiful project.

If you have any questions about my cards, please do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to help.

Crafty hugs

Anne :)

Hi there

Do hope you are all keeping well, it is a lovely sunny afternoon here in Coggeshall :)

I just wanted to let you all know that as my Google Feedburner email notification system is coming to an end in July, I have now switched over to using Follow.it to forward email notifications to you, so please do not be alarmed if you see the Follow.it symbols instead of Google's Feedburner :)

You can also customise your subscription with Follow.it  and add different notification feeds, if you wish, for example BBC News feed!

You can see further information over at Follow.it

I am looking forward to a great relationship with Follow.it and their extensive subscription service.

Until my next post..

Blog Hop Tintenträume - June 2021 - Touches of Ink

Hi there

I do hope you are keeping well :)

Welcome to another fabulous Touches of Ink Blog Hop with some very talented ladies, we are using the Expressions in Ink suite from Stampin' Up!

If you have come from the lovely. Melanie Fischer - MeeFischs Bastelecke
Blog, I am sure you were amazed by her beautiful project.

This set is on my wish list! So far, I only have the stunning patterned paper, it is gorgeous! And so many possibilities to create with it! I made a fold flat box card, so much fun!

I used a piece of basic white 12" x 12" so that it was large enough to cut down to 28 cms x 24 cms, I tried it with regular cardstock but it was just too short for my liking!

The belly band is also holding a decorative lattice panel, the gold leaves are from the Expression in Ink Empheral pack as are the few sequins on the front of the card.

Here is the inside where you can pop in a gift card or even a slim chocolate! Yummy

I used the new scallop die from the colour and contour set to cut the edge of the patterned paper so that the white and gold strip would show through at the edges.

Here is a side view
What do you think? Fun :)

I also made a few simple cards just letting the fabulous patterned paper do all the work!
Please hop on over to the lovely. Angela Köber from  - Stempelfamilie who is next with a gorgeous project :)

Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get list along the way the list of participants is at the end of this post.

Take care and have fun getting inky.

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - June 2021

Hi there

Do hope you are all keeping well :) we have absolutely gorgeous weather here in Essex today! Can't believe how lucky we are! Yay! for sunshine :)
i am excited to be joining all the talented crafter's on Kylie's blog hop this month.

Over the last few days I have been playing with 'Z' folds to see all the different ways I can use just one fold! It has been so much fun!

I cut up the gorgeous patterned paper from 'In the Wild', after all we have to 'Love It, Chop, It' as Kylie would say :)   I don't have the Wild Cats stamp set or Big Cats dies, but it is easy to just cut the beautiful paper...

I used Merry Merlot for my card base and cut a Bumblebee label from the 'Tasteful Labels' dies.
Another strip of patterned paper and my fussy cut tiger and I had a fun card, I hope you like it :)

Here are few other different takes on the same 'Z' fold!  Because bit doesn't have to go the same way! Tee hee
In the card below, I cut off 5 cms from the right-hand side of the card front (instead of doing a score and folding) and then  folded the strip in half to make a flap like a mini joy fold card, you could make the flap any length and position it anywhere on the card front, so many possibilities...
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about any of my cards or products used, I would be delighted to help you.

I would really appreciate it if you could vote for me and four other amazing projects by clicking on the vote button below :)
Very many thanks, take care and have fun getting inky!

Hi there

Woo hoo! it is a beautiful Tuesday and I am taking part in Sunday Stamps Challenge 258 they have a fun sketch over on their blog, that I am joining in :)

I have embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and layers on a piece of soft sea form cardstock die cut with one of the Scalloped Contours dies, I stamped the beautiful spray from Shaded Summer on the front in Just Jade, after stamping off once :)
I die cut one of the squares and matching flower from the Floral Squares dies in Just Jade and Polished Pink and decorated the centres with the Genial Gems :)
My sentiment cones from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and die cut out using the smallest Stitched Rectangles dies.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about my card, I really had fun making it, I hope you can join the the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

Take care and have fun getting inky.

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - April 2021

Hi there

Do hope you are all keeping well, many thanks for stopping by my blog, I am taking part in Kylie's blog hop this month and am always amazed by the tremendous variety of cards, so many talented crafter's sharing inspiration and ideas. My card is made up of scraps left on my desk after a zoom card class that I participated in, held by my lovely friend, Ruth Blackett of Crafting 4 Friends, she had design a fun door hanger to decorate and some cards to make using the dragonfly suite, patterned paper and Memories and More cards, it was so much fun, and I am determined not to waste any of the leftover bits!

The sentiment and leaves are from Free as a Bird stamp set.

It is a simple card, but sometimes, less is more!

I would appreciate it, if you  could vote for me and four other amazing cards as well. Thank you.

Take care and have fun getting inky!

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - March 2021

Hi there

Welcome and thank you for popping by my blog.  I am taking part in Kylie's blog hop and there are always so many amazing cards to get inspiration from.
I was inspired by Julie Davidson's Berry card using a punch to make an aperture in the front of the card and I love colouring the beautiful flowers from the True Love patterned paper, so it was an obvious match. My card base is Just Jade and my sentiment comes from Many Messages, love all those different sentiments :)

And here is the inside :)

If you have any queries about my card, please do contact me.

I would really appreciate it if you could vote for me and four other amazing cards as well. Thank you.

Take care and have fun getting inky!

SUOC#269: Color Challenge

Hi there

Hope you are all keeping well, today I am joining in with the SUOC#269: Colour Challenge :)
They are using the following colours

I have made this super cute card called a pocket quilt card from my friend Fanny Stafford at Happy Stamping, she was inspired by Karen Titus and Julie Heitz, you can see Karen's You Tube video here and Fanny's You Tube video here.

I have used the Love you Always patterned papers, Melon Mambo and Basic White cardstock.  My sentiment is from Many Messages and I have used Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green ink with a water painter for the flower which was fussy cut from the patterned paper.

You probably can't see it on the photo but the chequered panel has been run through the dainty diamond embossing folder :) Also the two die cuts leaves are in silver foil for a bit of bling!

If you have any queries about my card, please do contact me :)

Take care and have fun getting inky!
