Rocker card with Best Dressed

Hi there

What a beautiful sunny Saturday!  Do hope that you are all keeping well and safe.

I have been having fun making this fun rectangular rocker card from lovely Gloria Plunkett at Designz by Gloria she has an excellent video tutorial and lots of different samples to see, please do go over to her blog to see them all.  She has some beautiful cards and tutorials to try out.

Here is my take on Gloria's fun rectangular rocker card.

Here is the inside panel

Here is a view of the mechanism that makes the panel pop up!

My card base is Thick Whisper White and the patterned paper is from the Best Dressed DSP on page 55 of the Mini Catalogue.

The peak of lace is a die from the Painted Poppies Labels and the sentiment is punched out with the Timeless Label punch.  My sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, also in the Mini Catalogue.  I hope you give this fun card a try using Gloria's tutorial.

If you would like any further information about any of the products used or how to purchase them, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I would be happy to help you.

Take care, stay safe and have fun getting inky!

Peaceful Poppies purse and notecards

Hi there

Welcome to my blog :)

I do hope that you are all managing during this difficult time; my love of paper crafting is a huge comfort to me, especially at this time :)
I had fun making this cute purse out of a sheet of 12" x 12" DSP from the Peaceful Poppies paper.  I CASE'd Kris Miller from Stamping Bugs Cards, she has a You Tube tutorial here.  :)

I used a clear 3M Velcro dot to close the purse that I purchased on Amazon.

I then decorated four note cards and envelopes to pop inside, also using the Peaceful Poppies paper, Painted Poppies stamp set and the 'Thank You' from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

All products are available through my online shop from Stampin' Up!, which is open 24/7.  The 'shop with me' link is just on the right-hand side of my blog page in web view :)

I had so much fun making these, hope you decide to give it a go!

Take care and have fun getting inky!

Fun Fold Friday with Bird Ballad DSP

Hi there

Hope you are all keeping well.  It is a beautiful sunny day here in Essex and we are in our third week of confinement... definitely having friends and crafting in my life is a blessing I am grateful for :)

I saw this fun fold on the lovely Sharon Armstrong's from TxStampin's blog post here, please do go along and see her lovely card and video tutorial.  This is my take on it.

I have used the Bird Ballard DSP (Designer Series Paper) and have fussy cut some of the images out to create this lovely card.  The background foil paper was a freebie during Stampin' Up!s fabulous Sale-A-Bration period, which finished on 31 March, but I still have a few papers left to play with! :)

You are probably wondering why it is a fun fold! that comes to light on the inside...

Hmmm I still might need to add another panel to the inside to finish it off! My bad!
I was just so excited to share it with you :)

Well take care, have a wonderful Easter, have fun getting inky and looking forward to posting again soon!

Crafty hugs

   Anne :) x
