Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - February 2021

Do hope you are all keeping well and the new year has started off on a positive note for you :) 

I am excited to be participating in Kylie's monthly blog hop!  

There are soooo many gorgeous stamp sets to choose from as the latest Stampin' Up! catalogue was just filled to the brim with fabulous goodies...

I have chosen the Fine Art Floral set, it has such beautiful images :) 

My card base is Night of Navy and my embossed layer using the Painted Textures folder from the same suite is Misty Moonlight, I have also used Misty Moonlight to stamp my images, the sentiment is from the 'Heal Your Heart' Sale-A-Bration set available for free! Woo hoo, who does like free stuff!

#SUOC267 - Festive Post

Hi there

Hope you are all keeping well, this week I am taking part in the #SUOC267 - It's a love thing

I have made an extended 'Z' fold card by attaching a piece of patterned paper from the free Sale-A-Bration offer 'Oh so ombre' in Rococo Rose and the In Bloom papers, also on offer.

I stamped the images from the Festive Post set and punched out with the rectangular postage punch and decorated with a few flowers cut from the paper :)

I don't very often make cards with hearts on, but thought that these went together :) apologies for the dark photo!

SUOC#266 - Designers choice

Hi there

Do hope you are all keeping well :) today I am joining in with the lovely Stampin' Up Only challenge #266 - Designers Choice.

I have used the lovely Sale-A-Bration free stamp set called  Corner Bouquet with an order of £45, so win, win!

My card base is Mossy Meadow and the main image is also stamped in Mossy Meadow with extra Melon Mambo flowers stamped and adhered with glue dots.  The sentiment is from another beautiful SAB set with lovely sentiments and a wonderful font called Heal Your Heart; I have used the tailored tag punch for the label.

The touch of gold is tear and tape adhesive with some gold flakes rubbed on, plus I just had to add one of the beautiful opal rounds embellishment :)

Happy New Year to 2021

 Hi there

Happy New Year!  Thank you for popping by my blog today :)  Hope you are keeping well and looking forward to the fabulous new goodies in the new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue.  I am so excited to lay my hands on some Sale-A-Bration freebies as well, the offer is shorter this year and runs for just two months January and February as Stampin' Up! are having two, yes, TWO Sale-A-Brations this year with the second offering being later on in the year.

Please do let me know if you would like a catalogue, I would be delighted to pop one into the post for you :)

There are so many fabulous new products in the new mini catalogue, one of my favourites is the Many Messages, it is ONE huge stamp with one co-ordinating die that cuts out all the labels in one go! so much fun and so many possibilities :)  Here is a photo  of some gorgeous samples from the mini catalogue :) 

Hopefully, I will have a card to share with you soon using this fabulous stamp :)

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - November 2020

Hi there

Do hope you are all keeping well, wow, where did October go to! I just blinked and it is time again for Kylie's blog hop! 

I am so excited to be joining in again with this really cute set of cards using the Lovely You stamp set, the really fun thing about these cards is that you can get 3 out of one sheet of A4 cardstock - woo hoo!

You just cut 1.2 cms off the width to give you a piece of cardstock that is 27.7 x 19.8 cms, turn to the long side and cut three pieces at 9.9 cms, score in half at 9.9 - this will give you three 9.9 cms square cards that will easily fit into a 105 cms or 4" square envelope :) 

I stamped on to Soft Sea Foam and then dry embossed the panel with the Subtles 3D embossing folder. 

The Melon Mambo flowers were stamped separately, fussy cut and attached afterwards.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Blog - October 2020

Hi there

I do hope that you are all keeping well, I am very excited to be joining Kylie's International Highlights Blog again this month :) 

I saw this really fun One Sheet Wonder (OSW) using 6" x 6" paper from Melissa Miller over at Mel's Card Corner, she has done a fabulous tutorial showing how to cut the patterned paper.

I used the lovely 'Tis the Season' DSP with a Whisper White card base and Just Jade cardstock layer under the patterned paper.

This design makes four cards, you can make them identical, but I decided to change them up  a bit between portrait and landscape with different embossing folders and elements on the front! :) 

My first card uses the leaf from Very Versailles and my second, Free As A Bird.

For my third card I went with Tasteful Touches.

And finally for my last card, the beautiful Forever Fern.
